Sue Johnson, 61 of Woodhull, Illinois passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  Cremation has been accorded.  Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull.   Private graveside services will be in the Alpha Cemetery.  Memorials may be left to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and online condolences can be made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.

She was born July 3, 1961 in Moline, Illinois to Charles and Marie Willett Johnson.  Sue graduated from AlWood High School with the class of 1979. 

Sue was a licensed practical nurse and was employed in the Galesburg area.

She was a member of the Alpha United Methodist Church.

Sue enjoyed crocheting, arts, crafts, collecting various items and playing her scratch-off lottery tickets.          

Sue is survived by her children, Dave (Cassy Girkin) Anderson; Terry Anderson, all of Woodhull; one sister,  Deb (Melvin) Briggs of Alpha, IL; two brothers, Dave (Cherie) Johnson of Alpha; Mike (Stephanie Gallivan-Gallo) Johnson of North Tonawanda, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Johnson.
