V. Darlene Doak, 81, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty, Iowa. Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the New Boston United Methodist Church. Burial is in the New Boston Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services where memorials may be left to the New Boston United Methodist Church and online condolences may be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.

Darlene was born March 27, 1934 in Muscatine, Iowa to Frank and Valeria Willis Lee. She graduated from Muscatine High School. Darlene married Curtis L. Doak on November 21, 1959 in Muscatine, Iowa.

She was a homemaker.

Darlene collected bells and coins. She enjoyed sports, playing cards and especially being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis; three daughters, Diana Doak of Davenport, Iowa; Darla Mills of Muscatine, Iowa; Debra (Kurt) Johnson of Springdale, Arkansas; one son, Darren Doak of Springdale, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, Cory, Dustin, Arren, Amanda, Nicholas, Zachary, Shaun, Jay and Angela; one great granddaughter, Abigail; one sister, Ileta Lee of Morning Sun, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
