Trevor B. Atchison, 21, of Alpha, IL, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Services are 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Alpha United Methodist Church. Burial is in the Alpha Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. A memorial fund will be established and online condolences can be made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.
He was born June 3, 1991, in Galesburg, IL to Kelly and Trudy Anderson Atchison. He attended AlWood Schools and received his GED in 2009 from High Roads Advantage in Aledo where he received his food service certificate. He attended Blackhawk College and received his welding certificate in 2011. He married Robin Carr September 2011.
Trevor was employed at General Grind and Machine in Aledo, Pioneer Hybrids and the Fountain Oasis, both in Woodhull. He helped his dad farm for many years.
He was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church. He enjoyed music, video games and enjoyed his family, friends and a special dog, Jack.
He is survived by his parents: Kelly and Trudy Atchison; a sister: Brittney Atchison, all of Alpha, IL; paternal grandparents: Charles and Geri McLaughlin of Alpha, IL; several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
His paternal grandfather: Russell Atchison; and maternal grandparents: Dick and Marcella Anderson; and one uncle: Tim Bradley Anderson preceded him in death.
