Nancy J. Forrest

Nancy J.  Forrest, 91 of Sherrard, Illinois passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at home. Visitation is 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Fippinger Funeral Home.  The funeral services will directly follow the visitation at noon.  Burial is in the Aledo Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be left to Alzheimer’s Association or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.  Online condolences may be left at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.

She was born May 23, 1931 in Prophetstown, IL to Leon and Florence Allender Bedwell. Nancy married Garl A. Forrest February 13, 1960 in Moline.  He passed away September 1, 2018.

Nancy retired from John Deere as an assembler.

She enjoyed fishing and was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears and golf fan.

Survivors include one daughter: Scotty Cook of Sherrard, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Dunn of Aledo and Ardis Hampton of Milton, Georgia; cousin, Kaye (Dan) Randell of Galesburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one sister, Marietta Lester.
