Mildred E. Hutt, 92, of Aledo, IL, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Aledo. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery in Keithsburg. IL. Visitation is 5-7 PM Tuesday at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo where a rosary will be recited at 7 PM. Memorials may be left to St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She was born December 25, 1920 in Mercer County, IL to William and Fern Whitehall Callahan. She graduated from Keithsburg High School and married Blair B. Hutt January 27, 1940 in Keithsburg. He died in 1984.
Mildred was employed for over 30 years in the restaurant business retiring as owner of the Aledo Maid Rite.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Scott(Teresa) Hutt of Tacoma, WA, Traci (Tim) Fillmer of Silvis, Michael (Donnabelle) Hutt and Dana Hutt, all of Midland, TX, 7 great grandchildren, including her special great grandson: Shawn Kubas, 7 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Terry Hutt, two sisters: Maude Truman and Winifred Waugh, and two brothers: Bernard and John Callahan.
