Margo Nesbitt, age 87, of Minneola, KS, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Minneola Long Term Care Unit. Funeral Services are 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at the Minnis Mortuary Chapel in Minneola, KS. Graveside Services are 10:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2012 at the Norwood Cemetery in rural Alexis, IL. Memorials may be left to the Minneola Longer Term Care Unit and Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo is in charge of local arrangements.
She was born August 2, 1925 in Galveston, TX to Lawrence and Anne DeBerry Jekel. She married William J. Nesbitt . He died in 1985.
Margo was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter: Margo Rakes of Goddard, KS; one son: William J. (Betsy) Nesbitt of Gunnison, CO; 5 grandchildren, Billy Nesbitt of Sheridan CO, Matt Nesbitt of Durango CO, Catherine Nesbitt of Aurora, CO: Jeremy (Courtney) Rakes of Frontenac, KS; Megan (Ryan) Leaming of Wichita, KS; and two great grandchildren: Cooper and Bailey Rakes.
Her parents, husband and a sister, Anne preceded her in death.
