Margaret L. Fields, 76, of Woodhull, IL died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Services are 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at United Church of Woodhull. Burial is in Woodhull Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 PM Monday at Peterson-Wallin-Knox-Funeral Home in Woodhull. Memorials may be left to United Church of Woodhull. She was born May 27, 1935 in Albia, IA to James and Beryl Sheldon Perry. She graduated from AlWood High School in 1953. She married W. Dale Fields April 2, 1960 at the Methodist Church of Woodhull, having just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.

For 25 years, Margaret was employed as a secretary/office manager for various businesses in Moline and Woodhull, IL, retiring in 1985 to care for her daughter, Sheri. She was a member of the PEO, a seventy year member of the United Church of Woodhull serving as an elder and member of the Presbyterian Women. She cooked and delivered Meals on Wheels in the Woodhull area and enjoyed quilting, spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow.

Survivors include her husband: Dale; three daughters: Julie (Joe) DeDecker of Orion, IL, Kathy Fields of Woodhull, IL, Angie (Scott) Rybka of Plainfield, IL; 6 grandchildren: Brandon (Addy) Vail of Woodhull, IL, Megan (Greg) Westhoff of Alpha, IL, Tyler and Trent DeDecker of Orion, IL, CJ and Andrew Rybka of Plainfield, IL; one great grandchild: Kinsley Westhoff and one lovingly expected: Aven Vail; one sister: Charlene Swanson of East Moline, IL; one brother: Jack (Barb) Perry of Woodland Hills, CA; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Sheri Lynn; two brothers: Don and Jim Perry.
