M. Colleen Davis, 82, of New Boston, Illinois died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center in Aledo. Graveside services are 10 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the New Boston Cemetery. There is no visitation. A memorial fund will be established. She was born August 3, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa a daughter of Frank and Mildred Childress Sheehan. On May 7, 1950 she married Preston Ivo Davis in Raton, New Mexico. He died June 3, 1989.
She was a homemaker and was employed as a waitress for many years. She was a member of the New Boston Assembly of God.
Survivors include 4 sons, Robert (Janice) Davis of New Boston, Theodore (Kathie) Davis of Richmond, Virginia, Michael and Ronald Davis, both of New Boston, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, Half-sisters, Georgia McReynolds, Mary Lankford, Virginia Cleghorne all of Texas, half brothers Bob Starcevic of Des Moines, Larry Starcevic of Ames, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son: Preston, 1 sister and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
