Lois Rehn

March 6, 1927 — June 29, 2015

Lois M. Rehn, 88, of Orion, Illinois, formerly of Woodhull, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 29, 2015 at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo. Services are 11:00 AM Friday July 3, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull. Burial is in the Woodhull Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 PM Thursday at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull where memorials may be left to Bethany Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association. She was born March 6, 1927 in Rock Island, IL to Leo and Verena Tanner Freeze. Lois attended the Rock Island and Moline schools. On March 2, 1947, she was united in marriage to Kenneth B. Rehn in Moline, IL.

Lois was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of their farm.

She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, WELCA, Henry County Farm Bureau, Woodhull American Legion Auxiliary. Lois enjoyed golfing, gardening, canning, wintering in Texas and especially being with her family. Lois had a love of children.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, one daughter, Teresa (Ron) Carlson of Orion, two sons, Bill (Becky) Rehn of Peosta, Iowa, David (Susan) Rehn of Woodhull, one daughter-in-law, Deborah Rehn of Plano, TX, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one sister, Clara Procksch of Leavenworth, KS, five brothers, Leroy Freeze of Colona, IL; Richard Freeze, of Coal City, MO, Leland Freeze of Gladstone, MO, Dilbert Freeze of FL, Earl Freeze of Columbia, MO, several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, one son, Steven, one grandchild, Aric, seven sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
