Linda K. Glenn, 65, of Aledo, IL, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Clarissa Cook Hospice in Bettendorf, Iowa. Services are 10:00 AM, Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo, IL. Burial is in the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Fippinger's. Memorials may be left to Clarissa Cook Hospice. Online condolences can be made at

She was born July 29, 1948 in Sparta, IL, a daughter of Purm and Dorothy Sitkoski Higgerson. She attended the Sparta Schools and married William Glenn March 17, 1979 in Sparta, IL.

Linda was employed at Elwynn's Cleaners in Sparta for 10 years as a presser, among various other jobs. She enjoyed bowling, painting, trucking and especially being with her family.

She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and Community Chorus in Sparta.

She is survived by her husband: Bill; one son: Mark of Cobden, IL; one daughter: Kristin Rogers of Enterprise, AL; three brothers: Bob Higgerson of Sparta, IL; Eugene Higgerson of Chester, IL; Floyd (Mary) Higgerson of Lathrop, MO; one sister: Barbara Sue (Bill) Willingham of Clarksville, TN; two sisters-in-law: Susie Kenney and Sara Ott; and one brother-in-law: Tom (Amy) Glenn; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
