Linda Cantrill

Linda K. Cantrill, 72 of Alpha, IL died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 10, 2018 at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. Burial is in the Alpha Cemetery. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to QC Paws or the Rock Island County Animal Shelter. She was born April 5, 1945 in Beardstown, IL to Alfred and Opal Landrith Anderson. She attended Moline schools and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1963. She married Jeff Cantrill March 18, 1967 in Rock Island, IL.

Linda was a homemaker and was employed as a telephone operator in her earlier years.

Linda was a wonderful baker and enjoyed puzzles and shopping at Goodwill. She loved animals, especially cats and feeding birds and squirrels.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff; one daughter: Julie (Tim) Anderson of Alpha, IL; one son: Darren (Jeni) Cantrill and their son: Nathan, all of Honolulu, HI; one sister: Judy (Larry) McCormick of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Dale.
