Larry Eugene Weeks, 68, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Aledo, IL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Services are 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Visitation is 10 a.m. until the time of service at Fippinger's. Larry was born March 2, 1944 in Aledo, IL. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1962.
He lived in the Aledo area until he moved to Florida in the mid 1980's. Larry remained self employed in the floor covering installation business until he retired in 2009.
He is survived by wife: Julia Kirk Weeks of Daytona Beach, Florida; one daughter: Kim (Leo) Dyehouse of Crab Orchard, KY; one son: Mark (Shelia) Weeks of Jacksonville, Florida; his mother: Betty Lou Weeks of Aledo, IL; two sisters: Kathy Carlson (Jim) of Rock Island, IL; and Linda (Dennis) Johnson of Moline, IL; three brothers: Russell Weeks of Inverness, FL; Scott (Judy) Weeks of Aledo, IL; and Jim (Jackie) Weeks of Davenport, IA; 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Larry is preceded in death by his father: Everett William Weeks; wife: Lana Raleigh Weeks; and a niece: Cindy Lou Johnson Lower.
