Julie Marie Bell

Julie Marie Bell, 64 of Woodhull, Illinois passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home.

The Graveside Services for Julie Bell have been rescheduled to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the Woodhull Cemetery.  The Celebration of Life at the Oxford American Legion Post 1197 is still on schedule to begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023.

 Memorial contributions may be left to Henry County Humane Society or the Tri-County Ambulance.  Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.

Julie was born December 13, 1958 in Galesburg, Illinois to John Robert “Andy” and Janet Marie Pugh Anderson.  She graduated from AlWood High School in 1977.  Julie married Jeff Bell October 5, 1991 in Woodhull.

Julie was a seamstress for Proxetall and Carhartt for many years.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and active in various animal groups, including, Kayla 4 Kritters, Western Illinois Animal Rescues, surrounding area Humane Societies and Guardian Angels.  Julie loved animals and flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff; mother, Janet Anderson of Rio; sister, Jacqy (Kyle Boens) Williams of Coal Valley; several cousins, aunts, uncles, including special niece, Alisha Williams and her beloved dog, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, mother and father-in-law, Toot and Skee Bell; aunts; uncles and several furry friends.
