Jacqueline R. Williams

Jacqueline Rae Williams, 62, of Coal Valley, Illinois passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Per her request, cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life service will be held on August 6, 2023 at Bourbons Bar & Grill in Coal Valley from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be left to QC Paws of Rock Island County.  Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.

Jacqy was born April 14, 1961 in Galesburg, Illinois to John Robert “Andy” and Janet Marie Pugh Anderson.  She graduated from AlWood High School with the Class of 1979. She was employed with XPAC in Milan for many years.  

Jaqcy loved playing Scrabble on Sundays with her mother, having a few Keystones in the afternoon with her best friend Gail, listening to good country music, going to work with her friends at XPAC, and loving on her fur babies.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Anderson of Rio; stepdaughter, Alisha Marie Williams of Matherville; brother-in-law Jeff Bell of Woodhull; special friend, Kyle Boens of Coal Valley; best friend, Gail Struss of Coal Valley; several cousins, aunts and uncles.  

Jacqcy was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; sister Julie Bell; aunts and uncles.
