Gregory L. Millett

Gregory L. Millett, 59, of Aledo, Illinois passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Mercer Manor in Aledo. Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in the Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and online condolences can be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.

Gregory Millett was born September 20, 1963 to Lewis and Janet Reed Millett in Aledo, Illinois. He graduated from Aledo High School with the class of 1981. Greg graduated from Hamilton Technical School with a degree in Computer Technology. He was employed by Skarda Computer Service for many years until Skarda’s retired. Greg worked at General Grind and Machine for 11 years before retiring.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, car shows, car races, and spending time with friends and family. Greg helped with the care of his father and grandparents.

Greg is survived by his mother, Janet; one sister Kim (Mike) McCutchan; nephews John McCutchan, Kevin (Kailyn) McCutchan, all of Aledo; one uncle Lyle (Judy) Reed; one cousin, Robert Millett; and one great nephew, Robert Lewis McCutchan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Millett; his grandparents, Rolly and Delphine Reed and George and Nellie Millett; one cousin, Mike Millett; two uncles and two aunts.
