Gail Crawford-Noble, 76, of Aledo, IL, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island. Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Fippinger Funeral Home. Private burial will be at a later date. Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Thursday at Fippinger's. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Mercer County Animal Shelter and online condolences may be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.
She was born September 13, 1936 in Beatrice, NE, to JD and Pearl Wells Crawford. She graduated from Alpha High School and married Rex Dixon. She later married Jerry E. Noble August 3, 1991 in Aledo.
Gail was employed at various businesses in Aledo. She was a member of the Mercer County VFW Post 1571 Auxiliary. She rebuilt and refinished antique furniture and enjoyed attending yard sales and flea markets. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlework and had a great love for animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, one son,: Randy (Gloria) Dixon and one daughter, Julie (Scott) Balmer all of Aledo; 5 granddaughters; three great grandchildren; one brother: Larry (Marilyn) Crawford of Alpha, IL; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Stacey.
