Donna J. Luxmore

Donna J. Luxmore, 94, of New Windsor, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.  The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home, Alpha.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, New Windsor.  Memorials may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church or to the Bryant J. Donna was born on February 27, 1929 in Dines, Wyoming, the daughter of Thomas and Evelyn (Rosene) Tonso.  She married William Luxmore on February 19, 1949 in Rock Springs, WY. 

Donna was a homemaker, Avon representative for 50 years, and loved crafting.  

Donna is survived by her children, Richard Luxmore, Sherrard, Linda Welp, New Windsor, Leonard (Brenda) Luxmore, New Windsor, and Brad (Debbie) Luxmore, Sugar Grove; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Terry Luxmore; daughter in law, Kathyrn Luxmore; son in law, James Welp; and grandson CPL Bryant J. Luxmore.
