Donavan L. Stineman

Donavan L. Stineman, 76 of New Boston, IL died Friday, December 16, 2022 at home. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the New Boston Cemetery. There is no visitation. A memorial fund will be established. He was born May 14, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa to George “Bud” and Lillian Doak Stineman.
Donavan attended the local schools. Donavan married Velma Terrill November 26, 1965 in Muscatine, Iowa.  She passed away February 19, 2019.

Donavan farmed at Edgar Farms and assisted various local farmers.  He was employed at Kent Feeds until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and having a clean vehicle.  In his younger days, Donavan enjoyed playing softball.

Donavan is survived by one daughter, Casey Stineman of New Boston; one son, Randy (Dawn) Stineman of New Boston; four grandchildren, Kylie, Karli, Nick and Katlyn; one brother, Leon (Debbie) Stineman of New Boston, IL; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Velma; one grandson: Ryan; one sister, Kay Nelson.
