Cheryl M. Lane

Cheryl M. Lane, of Aledo, IL died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Mercer Manor in Aledo. Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial will be in the New Boston Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. until the time of services at Fippinger’s where memorials may be left to the New Boston Cemetery. She was born December 9, 1942 in Aledo to George and Anna Inman King. She graduated from Westmer High School and married Richard Lane January 20, 1964 in Keithsburg, IL. He died January 23, 1999.

Cheryl was employed for many years in the Housekeeping Department at Mercer County Hospital in Aledo, retiring in 1988.

She enjoyed ceramics and loved Country and Western music.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Lane of Muscatine, Iowa, 2 grandchildren; Tiffany Lee and James Richard; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and six brothers.
