It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bonnie Lee Lamoreux, 77, of Keithsburg, IL on March 19th, 2022. Bonnie was born on May 11, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa. She grew up in the Lanark, Illinois area.
Bonnie was a kindhearted, selfless person who always showed strength, love and resilience. She enjoyed gardening and crafting; she could make something beautiful out of merely nothing. She also enjoyed camping, horseback riding, reading westerns, watching nature and listening to Willie. Most of all she loved spending time with family. All who knew Bonnie, knew love.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving children. Corey Prowant of Fountain, Florida daughter-in-law, Yadira Prowant of Clarksville, Florida, Frank Prowant of Keithsburg, Illinois; Cherie Prowant of Illinois City, Illinois, Jaranese and Kaleb Evans of Davenport, Iowa; Her 17 grandchildren, Amber Lodge, Nicole Trinkle, Savannah Prowant, Tyler Prowant, Nilsa Gazda, Kayla Attaway, Casie Smith, Fawn Musser, Ryan Kopf, Nicalaus West, Cheyenne Prowant, Samuel Prowant, Sonny Evans, Coy Evans, Natalie Evans, Joseph Evans, Clara Evans; Her 22 great grandchildren; three sisters, Karen (Dennis) Swinford of Muscatine, Iowa, Sue (Dennis) Weeks of Aledo, Illinois, Neva (Mitchell) Anfinson of Muscatine, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jaranese Ruth (Elliott) Lamoreux and Gail Edwin Lamoreux; her son Todd Prowant and her brother Gene Lamoreux.
Services will be held at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo, Illinois; on Friday, March 25, 2022. Visitation at 10:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the Edgington Cemetery immediately following. Pallbearers will include her seven loving grandsons, Ryan, Nicalaus, Tyler, Sonny, Samuel, Coy and Joseph. A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the American Legion in Muscatine, Iowa immediately following burial.
