Bonnie M. Carrera, 74, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Alpha, Illinois died Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home where a memorial fund will be established and online condolences may made at www.petersonwallinknox.com.
She was born August 16, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to Forrest and Betty Weir McCaw. She graduated from AlWood High School. Bonnie married Eleazar “Eli” Carrera in Moline, Illinois.
She was employed at John Deere Harvester in Moline and WE Energies in Milwaukee.
Bonnie enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Eli, two daughters, Paula (TJ) Kindt of Ocala, Florida; Beth Willett of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, James (Diane) McCaw of Benson, Arizona.
Her parents preceded her in death.
