Betty Weger

Betty L. Weger, 79, of Aledo, Ilinois, died Tuesday, December 23, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Services are 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the time of services Saturday at Fippinger's where memorials may be left to the church of the donor's choice. She was born March 15, 1934 in Mendota, IL to Emet and Florence Fields Stuber. She graduated from Mendota High School. She married Donald R. Weger February 23, 1957 in Mendota.

Betty was a homemaker and assisted her husband in their painting business.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and especially loved being with her family.

She is survived by her husband: Don; three daughters: Cindy (Scott) Bridgford of Joy, Illinois; Betty L. Weger; Sandra S. Weger, both of Aledo, Illinois; 3 grandchildren: Michael, (Amelia) Bridgford of Napa, California; Paul Bridgford of Orlando, Florida; Kristen Bridgford of Champaign, Illinois; 1 great granddaughter: Eve Bridgford of Napa, California; two sisters: Marilyn (Clois) Hight of Bald Knob, Arkansas; Marion Young of Mendota, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Robert.
