Betty Struble

Betty J. Struble 80, of Aledo, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Genesis Senior Living in Aledo. Services are 11:00 a.m. September 10, 2016 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in the Hamlet Cemetery. Visitation is 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Fippinger's. She was born February 21, 1936 in Moline, IL to Gail and Helen Koepke Lawson. She graduated from Moline High School in 1954 and married Wayne A. Struble November 22, 1967 in Coal Valley. He died in 1984.

Betty was employed as an L.P.N. for over 28 years at the former Oak Glen Home in Coal Valley and Georgetown Manor in Aledo. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and word search.

Survivors include: 2 brothers: Edwin (Pam) Lawson of Coal Valley, Robert Lawson of Lakewood, NJ, three step-sisters, Betty Jean Garrison and Joyce (Jack) Needham, all of Coal Valley, Ruth Goben of Sherrard, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant child.
