Allen W. Frank, 68, of Aledo, Illinois, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg. There is no visitation. Graveside Services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. Friends and family may gather in the parking area of TGI Fridays' at 1:30 p.m to proceed to the cemetery. A memorial fund will be established and online condolences may be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.
Allen was born July 14, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve veteran, having served from 1968-1970. He married Evelyn Anderson November 1, 1975 in Rock Island. She died February 20, 2012.
He was employed as a maintenance man at TJMaxx in Davenport, Iowa.
He enjoyed model trains and his dog, Maggie.
Survivors include one daughter: Tiffany Frank of Aledo, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
