Alice Esp

Alice E. Esp, 68, of Viola, IL died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at home. Cremation has been accorded. Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in the New Boston Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at Fippinger's where memorials may be left to FurEver Friends. She was born January 9, 1950 in Keokuk, Iowa to Kenneth and Bernice Anderson Ziegenhorn. Alice graduated from Galesburg High School. She married Timothy Esp October 31, 1996 in Aledo.

Alice was employed as a CNA at Marigold Nursing Home in Galesburg and Aledo Health and Rehab where she was a devoted caregiver and teacher.

She enjoyed reading in the sunshine and quiet times.

Survivors include her husband: Tim; two sisters: Jeanie (Rick) VanBeveran of Desert Hot Springs, CA; Ann (Steve) Fox of Knoxville, IL; two brothers: Dennis (Lisa) Ziegenhorn of Pekin, IL; Jim (Barb) Ziegenhorn of Orion, IL; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Jan Nelson of Milan, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
